Professional Linen Services was founded in 1995 by Edinburgh restaurateur, Alan Hogg. Unhappy with his experience of laundry service providers for his two restaurants, Alan decided to purchase some equipment and do the laundry himself in his garage. Not long afterwards, he started to receive requests from colleagues in the restaurant trade to take on their laundry service and things started to gain a bit of momentum.

Fast forward to 2008 and the company, founded in an Edinburgh garage, now operates from a 20,000 sq ft premises on the outskirts of Edinburgh and provides a top quality linen hire service to a loyal customer base throughout Scotland.

And the journey is not over yet. Still owned by Alan and a small group of friends and family, the day to day running of PLS is now in the hands of a dedicated management team who bring many years experience of the laundry and hospitality sectors and who are charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the company continues to prosper and meet the challenges of maintaining the very high standards for which our customers have come to rely on us.
