Peter Semple – General Manager
Peter has been working in the laundry industry since leaving college in 1992. Firstly, in the family business supplying detergents to the OPL sector and then for 5 years with Powles Hunt & Sons. He has been General Manager at PLS since 2001. At work, Peter takes great satisfaction in seeing his team motivated and equipped to give excellent customer service. Away from the office, he still enjoys a weekly game of 5-a-side football and is a very sore loser!
Steven Burnett – Account Manager
Our resident cheery chappy, Steve has 14 years of experience in the hospitality sector where he worked in hotel general management (so he knows what it’s like!) before coming into the laundry industry in 2004 and joining PLS in 2006. Intensively customer focussed – “Of course you can have it, it’s not a problem. Eh, what is it again?” – nothing (or at least very little) is too much trouble. Originally from Nottingham and now living in Fife, Steve has the twin curse of supporting Forest and Dunfermline FC – and he’s still cheerful!
Jeff Pincott – Operations Manager
With over 20 years operations experience in a variety of industries and in the hotel sector (well he worked behind a bar for a couple of years), Jeff brings order to the chaos occasionally created by other, exuberant members of the management team. Never happier than when he’s poring over Excel spreadsheets with lot’s of different coloured squares on them and wittering about KPI’s and TQM, Jeff, who lives with his wife, 2 daughters and dog – who’s also female – likes to get away from it all at the weekends and head off to the hills for a spot of walking – and you know how thirsty that can make you!
Claire and Ashleigh – Customer Services
Always at the end of the phone and delighted to help with any queries, problems, suggestions. Claire and Ashleigh will make sure that all enquiries are answered in a pleasant and efficient manner.
